Motorola RAZR Maxx V6

It’s hard to define, but you know the moment it enters a room. Your eyes are drawn to it and your ears wait for every sound. It’s called presence. And it’s built right into the MOTORAZR maxx V6. Experience its sculpted style, touch-sensitive controls and advanced music technology.

Price Range: $299.00 to $489.00

With the higher download speeds of HSDPA, cruising around the Web is a much smoother experience than you’ll get via WAP. The Opera 8 browser is fine, but lacks the funky extra features (such as mini snapshots of full Web pages) found in Nokia’s series 60 browser. Due to the text entry method, filling in forms online also takes longer than it would on a Sony Ericsson or Nokia phone.

The RAZR MAXX comes with quad band network which allows the user to use their mobile phone Worldwide dependant on the network operator. The phone will work over four networks & will switch between GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 automatically. The phone comes with Bluetooth® wireless technology Class 2 type & allows the user to connect to any other Bluetooth® compatible device & gain a wireless connection between devices. The Over The Air (OTA) synchronisation between the users personal computer & Bluetooth® technology allows the user to enjoy a seamless connection with annoying no wires. The user can connect the Motorola RAZR MAXX to a device using a USB connection which is easy to connect & allows the user to transfer data & download information using a USB cabled connection.

The Quad band mobile measures 53 x 104.5 x 15.5 mm and weighs 105 grams with battery, it is very similar to the V3 Razr in style and retains the large and easy to operate keypad. Only slight modifications make it stand out, there is a touch more glass is use with the V6 and the styling is more hard edged which some will like. The 2 screens are both very good and the front screen may be chemically toughed to resist kryptonite (joke) but it attracts greasy finger prints like some kind of mitt magnet and as such we spent nearly all day cleaning it.

Like its Moto siblings, its interface is still user-unfriendly. Although the sub-menus are now consistent, little things have been overlooked, like message navigation. For instance, if you want to check one of your older messages, you have to scroll all the way down - you can’t scroll up to reveal your oldest messages.
