Chat with friends, download media content and share your favorite images via multimedia messaging. No matter your means for communication, the Motorola W220 provides ample battery life and the best of the basics to help ensure everyday communication is always at your fingertips.

The Motorola W220 is a budget addition to the popular RAZR clamshell family. Featuring Motorola’s now familiar flat keypad with cool blue backlighting, the W220 is a bargain basement phone with limited features. There’s no camera, no music player and the screen is a basic colour display with a low resolution. However, there is an FM radio that can be listened to via the speakerphone, or using optional stereo headphones. For someone looking for a basic phone with an attractive design, the W220 could be a good choice. This is virtually the only clamshell phone in this price range. Be aware that this is not a superslim phone like the Motorola RAZR, but it’s still compact and lightweight. The closest competitor is probably the Nokia 2310, which comes in a traditional candy bar shape rather than a clamshell.
